Here's a solution

In Calendar:
1. Options, General Options: Set show tasks = No
2. On the Calendar menu, "Select Calendar...": choose "device default". Your calendar will now only display the entries you want...

Poor/nonexistent support from BPlay (theme doesn't work on 8800)

I purchased a theme from BPlay for my Rogers 8800. It didn't install. I checked their FAQs and researched... tried everything I could find but no luck. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling...

Telenav v5.1 for Rogers 8310 in Canada -- works on 8800 too

The wait for Telenav v5 update for Roger's BB 8800 in Canada appears to be over... I always found telenav v4.7 painfully slow but I didn't want to put up with the problem with the earlier v5 of it...

Tried today on my Rogers 8800 and got the following:

Notice: Sorry, your wireless Service Provider does not allow access to Windows Live Messenger for your device.
