Update to the latest official release from Sprint. OS6 is more responsive, and while you may not think that the Bold is a worthy upgrade, I now have wifi. If only it had voip!

Same form factor, but the 9650 has a trackpad vs trackball, and wifi. Also the ability to run OS6 when released.
The Bold 9650 is superior with regards to those aspects.

I lucked out and had multiple failures with my tour. Sprint upgraded me to the Bold 9650, and I have been happy ever since. The addition of the wifi, and the ability to upgrade to OS6 kept me happy...

I don't believe that Sprint has a remote backup. They rely on the end user to sync their phone with outlook, google, yahoo, etc.

I tried to have my local rep do the same thing for me almost a month back. Sprint is not issuing 9650's for the 9630's. Appears they have quite a few in reserve :(
