Not sure about seeing duration during the call, but after the call you can go to your call history, open that specific call, and it should tell you the duration.

I'm using my Torch 9800 with my old Curve 8310 holster, and the sleep function works just fine. Make sure your holster is designed for the Blackberry.

I'm using the OEM holster for my old Curve 8310. I drove over it with the Curve in it, and while the Curve did not survive, the holster did. Works great with the Torch.

I've not seen this problem. But I've seen times when all of a sudden something that used to work stops working like it should. In that case, a battery-pull seems to fix it. Did you try that?
