Not sure if this fixes it. But in the instructions that came with the BBSAP it tells you to change the permissions for the app to allow, in the advanced options.
It seems to be working now.

Ixxx8217;ve had the same problem with BB smart alarms pro.
I set it for say a 15 minute quick alarm, the time passes, no alarm.
I look at the phone, it shows the what time it is /dismiss/snooze option....
