turned out to be a messed up extraction of the...

turned out to be a messed up extraction of the downloaded files. cleaned up and extracted again and it solved the issue.

Aroc is right, you don't need VPN to have a secure connection to Domino. And we've run into the same issues with IPSec blocking at hotels.

Thankfully, it looks like Comcast has resolved this issue.

Sometimes you have to scroll around in the email settings page to get to a point where clicking the wheel/pearl will bring up that menu, but it is indeed there.

look in the itadminqueue table inside the besmgmt...

look in the itadminqueue table inside the besmgmt db in sql. zap the rows that correspond to the PIN and try again. Search the log files for other possible clues.

Try clearing the rows from the itadminqueue table in the BES DB corresponding to that PIN if there are any. Has solved OTA software deploys for me in the past, it might help here as well.

I've had good luck with deleting the rows...

I've had good luck with deleting the rows corresponding to a problematic PIN from the ITadminqueue table in the BES DB. Certainly has solved some OTA software issues in the past for me...

I did on the 7290 and also re-sent service books, the other 8830 is afk for a few mins.

My 8830 worked flawlessly.

Also, I sent both above devices Google Maps as part of the same software...

I did a 'Show all' on the 8830 and it doesn't...

I did a 'Show all' on the 8830 and it doesn't show up either. I can't find a similar tool on the 7290. Both show up in the Applications list under Advanced Options.
