BB 9800 Not charging...

So my friend dropped my bb 9800 and it stopped charging. After three days i tried charging it, it worked. Its been four days now but this morning again i tried to charge it but seems it has stopped....

Actualy i have found out that its not going off,the keypad is not working.if the backlight is off every seems off while the phone is on.i have left it in the bag of rice lol for now.

Thanks for the link. I haven't yet tried to install it have noticed that the files needs to be extracted first.

How do you go about it i mean updating?
I went on the wireless update option in advanded options on my device but its saying No Updates available.

Am on a BIS data plan and other services are working well but whenever i try to download the facebook app it gives me the following information:
