Is your PlayBook the 4G model? If it's wifi only there is no IEMI, only the PIN. If it's a 4g the number should be on the box I think. It also has a serial number and MAC address which are unique to...

I have never seen any instructions that say plug it in for 2 minutes and pull it out for 2 minutes. Where did you see that?
