Have to agree. I received my 9100 a week ago, and by end of week 1 I had tons of dust between the LCD and plastic (don't keep it in my pocket either) and the number 2 key would stop responding...

I ran it on the same server a couple times when testing, and it was painful. With BES 5.0, I try to keep BAS and BMS on a different server then BES.

The way I see it is if your BES is important...

I've done 6 or 7 P2V moves with BES 4.1+ and haven't had a problem yet. I'm always sure to shut down all services (including database), take a FULL backup, and run the conversion.

RIM must have done something at their data center. I just received notice from about a dozen of the BES servers I manage that their connections to RIM dropped and were re-established a minute later....
