Question What's new in 4.2

I see there is only the 8800 that has a 4.2 available.
Does anyone know what's new?

I guess we can expect 4.2 for other device next year (they are so slooooow (n) ).

Yeah I remember reading about 75xx and 72xx compatibility but again there are not so many, most I see are 71xx.

Just a suggestion... If there is only like 3 models, why not 3 different threads...

Now that my carrier (TELUS) offer 4.1 I would like to install it over the 4.1 I use now (NEXTEL). Problem is that it sees the same version thus it don't offer to install over. Any trick? Go back...

I tried a few search string and only found a discussion about Outlook. I guess we would have to add a field and enter all PIN manually in every contact but I don't want the PIN info that much after...

GW contact list

Is there a field in the GW contact list that show the PIN number? I entered a PIN for a user on the BB then sync'ed the contact but when in GW I see no field that show the PIN.

Funny, I wasn't looking for this in the 1st place but it happen that the numer under W for speedialing the voicemail had crap added to it and thus wasn't working anymore, just while I was browsing...

GoogleMaps and 4.1 = no go

I had GoogleMaps installed on 4.0 and when I try to install it on 4.1 it says it's not available.

Will have to wait for Google to update it I guess...

Zooming in an attachment with 4.1

When zooming in an attachment, I must manually click to enhance the portion I'm viewing.

Anyway to get that done automatically? I see nothing about that in options so I guess not... Or is there...

I find no specific info here about 4.1 for TELUS 7520.

I contacted TELUS support and they told me that since the 7520 won't be available anymore soon, that's why 4.1 is not and probably won't be...
