I didn't need to download mine and it was there.... I dont use AIM so I know I didnt download it. On the main "applications" screen, push the menu button and select "show all" and see if it comes up...

If it's more than 10 ppl, the best way is to make a group. Otherwise, you can only send to 10 at a time. Not sure if thats with all carriers but it's that way with Sprint.
