one other way to check is to go to Sprint PCS Clear Pay Program Terms (http://www.sprintpcs.com/common/popups/pop-gprsCarriers.html)
and that will list the frequencies and carriers for each country.

It is a little confusing. Sprint does have GPRS data in Panama if you have a GSM device that supports the 850 frequency. Sprint has GSM only devices that support the 850 frequency for voice and data...
