I get this problem even in London where there are phone masts all round the area. I think possibly there are busy periods where too many people are already using the communication channels.

I personally would not want a face-book app on blackberry phone I hate the idea of my international aquaintances tracking my daily movements via gps.

Very important information about the cable you use. I have found that the cables with the changeable heads will not work with a computer USB for anything except charging the battery.

If you have the contacts on your Sim you need only do the following:

1. Touch contacts
2. Press the menu key
3. Touch Sim Phonebook
4. Press Menu key
5. Touch Copy All Contacts
