OT--what are your options for checking email on the Pearl without Blackberry plan?

I am thinking of getting an iPhone to use in the same account as my Pearl, which (in addition to switching to ATT) would require me to drop the Blackberry plan for the iPhone plan, which is unlimited...

Did you try to take the battery out?

Try a hard reset... Take battery out, wait 10 sec, reinstall battery and reboot. It solves 90% of Pearl's problems :)

Yes, it is stereo. I am not using an adapter as I had 2.5mm Treo headphones. If you use an adapter, make sure your headphones are plugged into the adapter before you plug the adapter into the 8100....
