I am unsure why they need the names.nsf. They are in germany and are being tight lipped about why they needs things and how they do it.

I am coming from BES 4.1.3 on exchange. I moved jobs and now the BES is on Lotus notes. I dont have access to the BES but am in chanrge of the BB rollout. Need some assistance in the differences....

is there a way to set times to allow email to be pushed to the handset?

bes 4.1.3 and using an 8800

My boss came from a MDA and is wondering if there is a way to set time paramaters. IE only accept pushes between 7am and 10pm.

is there anyway to do this on the BES...

I dont want our users using their personal email accounts on our BB's. How can I disable that, and also how can i hide the icon from all BB's?

I assume its IT policy but I have not been able to...

how to NOT show sent items on the handheld?

Either via the BES (4..1.3) or from the handset (7290)

I still want sent items to be saved to the sent items folder in exchange but I just dont want them showing in the inbox of the BB.

BES 4.0 status showing no PIN?

Under BB manager all of my users have a pin number and the status shows Running.

I have a new user that is setup wireless and is sending and reciving email. However it says 0 for the PIN number...

1) user uses .ost files and he may have had outlook open on both his local desktop as well as his terminal services desktop

I am trying to activate an 8700 from Rogers. I have verified that the account is provisioned correctly for BES and the data plan is working.

The phone is here in the US and is roaming with EDGE...

Also with T-support you get full access to all the software (upgrades hotfixes etc)

the providers get you by telling you you can have the software/upgrade free but then pay them for their support...

our 7290's need a software upgrade. instead of me doing this 1 by 1 on my pc is there a way to push the software via BES? (I am on 4.02 now but will be on 4.2 in january)

Then just have the BES admin send the registration email to the user and the user can then activate the BB...
