Thanks, that's very helpful. I'm not sure what you mean by on the same line - my 8520 has an EE SIM card whereas the DTEK has a BT Mobile 750MB Plan SIM.
By 'regular mobile data service' do you mean...

Hello,

My Blackberry Curve 8520 picks up emails on my mobile phone network (EE) without the need to connect to wifi or mobile data.

My new DTEK50 does not seem to pick up emails on my mobile...
