Is there a trick to this or does it not take apps off. There is an uninstall function but it doesn't seem to work.

If it is the appearance [i agree that the Alltel Red 8130 looks sharp], you may want to go with a skin. I'm not sure if there is one out there with the same color but I but there is one close.
