Seems like the developers have been working hard on cooking up two updated versions with a lot of new features and support newer BB models. Yatca release is for devices running OS 4.6 and higher.

If you have (edge) i believe you will need to contact T-Mobile and have them provision/add the free add-on BBVADDON Feature enabler.

The way I was able to get pictures out of my device memory was using DM with Roxio Media Manager. Plug into PC open up Roxio Media Manager>Click and drag or Cut and Paste to your desired PC Folder.
