I installed DM 5 on one system and it wouldn't recognize the Tour. I simply reinstalled using the repair option on the reinstall and now its fine.

It does not slide off (like the Curve). It lifts off. So as you stick a nail under the latch and push it up, perform a lift at the same time. :-)

I have a similar experience here, but that was the same with my Curve. I'm in a VZW hole here, and there are only certain places where I get a one or max two bars in the house.
