So far youxxx8217;re lucky. Most large carriers are detecting Blackberryxxx8217;s and adding a data plan automatically. If you see sites that do not respond for a few minutes itxxx8217;s probably not the site or phone. I would suggest it is just internet traffic congestion.
Site restriction should not be an issue.
