I agree that the 9780 owners need to get a life. If that form factor works for you, then fine. Both devices are great. My point was that if you do the testing before you leave the store and get a good device that you should give it a more substantial test than just a week as in the case of the OP. The combination of the touchscreen, trackpad, and physical keyboard make more options possible in messaging, web-browsing and overall productivity. With pinch to zoom, swipe and double tap, some of the keyboard shortcuts are not necessary anymore and these touchscreen capabilities are not present on the 9780. The Torch has keyboard shortcuts as well as a larger screen. You also don't have a virtual keyboard which I agree still needs improvement. You don't have the option to view things in landscape or portrait mode. It is also so much cooler to be able to pop the slide up to answer a call and pop it down to end one.
