Had that same problem.
Annoyingly enough for me it went off early in the mornings. Really a bother.
Here is what you do.
1. Go to your BB calendar.
2. Push the BB button and go to Options
3. Then select the Facebook Calendar Item
4. On the options there go to "Display Reminders" and of course select "NO"
5. Go back one menu and then Hit save.
