OK. So, any profile you try to add that requires a password is a problem. Doesn't matter if it is a new to the device network, or a network you have used before. The consistent factor is whether there is a password. That sum it up?
I'm going on the belief that if you connected to a network with a password before, then you know what to do and this isn't a case of user error. Also, I trust you cycled the power on the router, as suggested and acknowledged earlier. On that basis I'm still thinking clean OS reload is in order.
