I had to remove the period off of the phone number as well, but once I did it connected immediately. Thanks for these crystal-clear directions, they encouraged me to spend the few minutes to get it working.

Now I have to figure out if I'll keep my Verizon MobileBroadband EVDO card. As long as EDGE is only 115Kb or so, I'll still need the EVDO for watching video (slingbox, primarily), but if TMO can get EDGE up to 250 Kbps or more, I may not need the extra card...
