Verizon shipped us a 8830 demo unit, so I've got 30 days to play with it.

The 8830 OS version is 4.2.2.66 vs the 4.2.1.72 on my 8800c

Biggest win so far that I've noticed is a Shuffle option in the Media player. (come on Cingular, let us OTA download this upgrade to the media player).

A little shocked that it didn't come with the DST patch pre loaded, or that the DST OTA download site didn't tell me that no patch was needed.
