I'm a Pearl newbie, having just switched from iMate JAM. I gave up on the bulky size and touch screen in the end but (shock horror
) miss some features of the Windows OS. Can anyone help?
1/ Task and Calendar notifications do not seem to 'go off' when the device is password locked or in standby mode. Have fiddled round with the Profile settings without success. All I seem to get is a small red flashing light - v easy to miss.
2/ Is it possible to select a period to 'snooze', when the notifcation displays? I have found the master default, but would like to vary the snooze at time of notification (Window Mobile had a dropdown similar to Outlook).
3/ The Task notification appears not to include a Snooze option.
So far for 2 & 3 I have found only way round is to open the Calendar/ Task entry and reset notification - v tedious.
