This may not help you, but I am using WPA2/AES with my D-Link DIR-655 and my 8320 connects just fine. The reason it may not help you is that a) you may not have this router and b) this router supports WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) which means I just had to type a PIN from the phone into the router's config screen and it made all the security connections for me, so I never had to try to deal with the AES passwords on my 8320.

If your router supports WPS, that's the best way to go. If not, at least know that it can work on an 8320...
