I usually install the latest Beta regardless of carrier and have not noticed any issues with regards to the network or conectivity or anything else.
It is always the "Safest" choice to go with your carriers latest official release, but I think it mostly comes down to your comfort level and experience with dealing with issues that amy arrise from using betas.
