Trackball problems

Unlike earlier models, the 8900 is not the easiest trackball to remove for cleaning.
I create a lot of metallic dust in my work and find the best way to keep the trackball working is to roll the ball up down left and right with a fridge magnet every day. saves me having to remove the trackball once a week for cleaning. So far It's been working for 6 months without a strip down.
