These phones make me laugh, the thing that go wrong with them. We've got a few weeks before we change them all (about 80) over to Torches, so I'm struggling to keep them alive till then.

I regularly have to try to free up balls that won't scroll in one direction, but this is the first I've seen that scrolls the wrong way.

My theory is that the up roller is so thickly coated with grease that it remains in contact with the ball even when the user is trying to scroll down. I fixed it by putting a bit of alcohol on the ball and scrolling it up for a few minutes.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

After 2 years of dealing with speakers that fade and have to be massaged back to life, screws that come loose and have to be tightened or replaced, balls that jam up, app 523 errors that don't even allow an OS upgrade, etc, I'm praying that the Torches are more reliable.
