I think he answered your question. Set up gmail normally. Then have your edu mail forwsrded to your BB address. You can set the "reply to" on your BB email address to your edu address. Then it will look like its coming from the edu address. However, then ALL emails from the BB email address will appear as if theyr coming from the edu address.

John Clark is correct. Set up gmail normally. All email coming to gmail will have your gmail address as the address it is coming from when you reply. You should really add your edu account to your BB instead of forwarding to it. The time savings is not that great by forwarding.
