Nope, because the wi-fi diag says "network acquired" which suggests its connected to the router.
It just doesn't allow the BB infrastructure to connect.

Dumb question, have you tried restarting the router?
When I first got my bold, it wouldn't connect at all, and I restarted the router and it was fine.

It sounds as though connecting to the router is fine, but that the router OR the ISP won't let you then go on to connect to BB. E.G. Like the router is connected to the PC, and says that it has a connection, but it wont let you connect to google.

I dont think a static IP address will help, but allowing the BB mac address through the "wireless MAC address filtering" may be a solution.
