I've just replaced the screen in my Storm2, and oddly the replacement that I bought has an adhesive backing that is present after you peel off a clear plastic thing. At first when I saw this I thought it must've been a feature on the later runs of this model, so I went ahead and installed it. The clips seem to fit correctly, but when I reassembled the phone, the "clicky" doesn't work. (touch digitizer and screen work) So I'm thinking about scraping the adhesive off, but I'm concerned that it won't work, and really am at a loss as to why the back of my replacement screen is sticky at all? (The original screen definitely was not sticky on the back.) Can anybody help me?
