Prestin, you should keep this in your original post about not being able to open attachments. All the questions people asked of you are necessary in fixing your issue.

Always provide as much detail as possible, we can't help you if you only give us vague details.

As for the trial, you have to purchase the BES software to go to a "live" server. There is a KB on RIM's site about going from trial to full BES. Have you searched BlackBerry Technical Solution Center for either of these questions? It's worth a look, and people here won't give you a hard time if you've already done some leg work
