I've run accross this exact problem, over and over, while beta testing BB6 for 9700.

Its memory bleed. So, bad that the automatic memory boost hasn't even got enough memory available to fix the problem

Your best bet is to try the advice above. And if that doesn't work, upgrade your OS. This forum has excellent instructions on how to do that.

The reason for this is simple. Every OS has minor adjustments to its memory management. Some versions are better than others.
