Not sure if this is considered third-party since it was made by RIM, but then again it didn't come pre-installed on my 8530...

Anyways, earlier this morning I noticed a new icon/indicator at the top of my 8530 screen which I later found out was a notification telling me one of my installed apps had an update available.

I loaded up App World, noticed it was Pandora Radio that had an update available, but I instead chose to delete the app/reboot the phone since I never use that app. The indicator will not go away now, it's still up at the top of my screen.

Is there any way to get rid of that indicator without having to remove/re-install App World?
