Default Help With My Curve!!!

my computer can't seem to detect my bb. i uninstalled the desktop manager out of frustration. i found out that i need to have the USB driver for my bb. i got it from the website. i downloaded it but when it was almost done downloading, a window appeared saying the software i was downloading is not Windows certified. I continued anyway and tried connecting my bb to the computer after but it still would not connect. i have tried all of my usb ports but it still wouldn't work! help!!!
