Hello Dubdub,

Thanks for the hint, from your few words I understood you said to pull the battery off the BB.

So I shut the BB down, pulled the battery, let it out for 20 seconds, inserted it back and the BB rebooted. It's the 2nd of 3rd time I do this in 2 years of having my BB.

No result at all. Just the same error at the same time.

I must also say that, in the meantime, te comuter had been rebooted, so it's not an incorrectly terminated install that lies waiting for post-reboot tasks.

I think I'll now uninstall the Desktop and reinstall it with my old version...
