There is indeed a legitimate use for a bluetooth headset, in much the same way that there's obviously a need for a BlackBerry smartphone.
That said, the chum in question was just obsessed with scratches on his mobile. Anyway, it's a while since we talked. He'll undoubtedly have a BB now. In a soft carry case. In a box.
