Of course you can change them.
Press MENU to get to the screen with all the application icons.
Notice the TOP line is the same icons as one the front screen.
Move whichever icons you want to that top line to have them show on the screen.
To move an icon, scroll to it, MENU - MOVE [or if it's in a subfolder MENU - MOVE TO FOLDER - HOME] scroll to where you want it, and click.
