Monday evening reception = free drinks
Tuesday evening Party = free drinks
Wednesday evening carrier parties / vendor events = free drinks 95% of the time
Bottled water and other various drinks & snacks are available on the conference floor throughout the day.
I remember one year where regular coffee and sugar-filled pastries were served for breakfast. Then Mountain Dew and energy bars were served for snacks.
Not a great combination for 5000+ Type-A, high tech, high-strung personalities at a gadget conference with an open bar. LOL
It sure made for some interesting times. (For those that were there and can remember.... Poor Matt. I wonder if he ever found his hotel room again.)
