I have no idea. I just ran across the app and put it out there.
I am not a fan of tethering. I have a wireless card for my laptop and would never tether simply because the technology is not where it needs to be for my business applications. I need stable, uncomplicated web access.
I use my phone as a phone. I pay $60 monthly for unlimited aircard internet access and it never lets me down.
