I guess YMMV is the real answer to this, but what's your take on sensible encryption policies?

A part of me thinks "encrypt the lot", but that seems to stuff a lot of things, such as using the phone to download a file, then connecting to your PC via USB and copying it back.

I guess I'm trying to understand why it seems if you encrypt the phone/card you can't even copy files from the phone using Desktop Manager after entering your password?

It seems a bit of a hole in the functionality unless I misunderstood something?
