Hello all,

We have a BlackBerry Professional Server v.4.1.4 for Lotus Notes and would like to move to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express installation.

It appears that BES Express must be installed on the same server running the Lotus Notes Domino server software. Right now, our BPS install is on that server already.

Can anyone say if it is possible to install BES Express on a server that BPS is already install on and not disrupt the BPS install?

If possible, I would like to run both BES servers in parallel somehow and then move individual BB devices over one-by-one as it is convenient for users through a full wipe and resynch to BES Express.

We only have 5 users on the BPS software so it isn't many people, but I'd like to avoid having to have them all lose service for a while if I need to remove BPS entirely first before installing BES Express.

Any insight from those that have done a BPS to BES Express for Notes move would be very welcome!
