Default Exchange 2010 to 2013 Migration with BES10

Note: No Test environment is available.

Environment: 1 Exchange 2010 server, 1 Exchange 2013 server and 1 BES10 server.

Migrating from Exchange 2010 SP3 Update Rollup 17 (v14.3.123.4) to Exchange 2013 SP1 CU16 (v15.0.1293.2) with a BES v10.2.6 Bundle 28 server accessing mailboxes on the Exchange 2010 server.

Both Exchange environments are currently in production. No mailboxes have been moved from 2010 to 2013. SMTP (port 25) and HTTPS (port 443) are still being routed to the 2010 server.

Currently in the process of configuring Exchange 2010 & 2013 for coexistence period so migration of about 500 mailboxes can be done over a period of time. There are about 30 users with BlackBerry 10 devices managed by the BES10 server and all 30 users have mailboxes on Exchange 2010 to be eventually moved to 2013.

The Virtual Directory URLs are the same in both Exchange 2010 & 2013 environments, including ActiveSync VD URL's in both 2010 & 2013.

My plan is to configure Exchange 2010 & 2013 for coexistence mode by redirecting SMTP (port 25) and HTTPS (port 443) to the Exchange 2013 server over a weekend.

I know what needs to be configured for Exchange 2010 & 2013 coexistence mode, but I have never performed an Exchange upgrade with BES10 in the mix.

I looked at the BES10 using it's Administration Device Service web console and verified an ActiveSync email profile exists which allows the current 30 users to connect using ActiveSync from their BB10 devices to Exchange 2010. Again, both Exchange 2010 & 2013 ActiveSync virtual directory URLs will stay the same.

My 2 questions are:

1. What changes are needed on the Exchange 2013 server & BES10 server to allow coexistence period while BlackBerry user mailboxes are moved from 2010 to 2013?

2. Are there any BlackBerry endpoint changes required so device interruptions do not occur during coexistence period while BlackBerry user mailboxes are moved from 2010 to 2013?
