With other OS', you set the max amount it can buffer and with the BB OS, it just uses it until there isn't any memory left (then the call logs, messages and everything else gets deleted instead). I don't care if it uses free memory, but with no max allotment, it eventually becomes a problem. I would do a battery pull on my Curve once a week, but with 10MB a day getting eaten up, it will be every 3-4 with the Bold.

Options>Status. It will be the File Free category. Total memory available depends on the user. If you uninstalled everything, your probably looking at 45-50MB. Average user is about 30-35MB.
