Okay... I followed everything step by step. At the point of unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in, it did ask that the drivers be installed. I gave it the ability to search Windows Update for the drivers and install the software automatically. AT the end of the searcdh, it told me that it could not install this hardware.
The device is listed as BCM92045DG-FLash_UHE in the Add New Hardware wizard. It is also listed as this in Device Manager under Other Devices.
