Default Re: 9900 touch screen

Is this new? did she drop it? get it wet?

Pull the battery and wait for a couple of minutes and reinsert it. when fully loaded see if that helps.
If this continues and the device is new, return it for a replacement.
The other option is to reload the software. do a search on this site for instructions and location for software.
If you do decide to reload make sure it is the OS for the phone and you follow ALL directions and take your time.
Unless the screen is defective try the settings first.

Set the touch screen sensitivity
You can set how sensitive the screen is to your touch.1.On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.2.Click Typing and Language > Touchscreen Sensitivity.xxx8226;
If you want the screen to respond faster when you tap it, change the Double Tap Interval field to a lower number.xxx8226;
If you want the screen to respond faster when you touch and hold it, for example, when you touch and hold the screen to open a pop-up menu, change the Hover Period field to a faster speed.
3.Press the BB key > Save.
