Default Can't Synch Anymore

Hi folks, new boy here ... so be gentle

I have a Curve 8520 running V5.0.0.681, which is running fine.

I have always been able to synch with Outlook (not OE) on my PC but not anymore My PC running W7 Ultimate 64bit with SP1 and all security updates installed. I recently upgraded this to 64 from 32bit and since then Outlook doesn't appear as one of the options for synching to in BB Desktop Software. The only option I get is <none> or Yahoo! - I don't even have a Yahoo! account

I'm guessing this is (yet) another W7/64 issue? But if anyone can suggest how to get back to how it was before I'd be grateful.
