Do you mean how to set up WiFi?

Verizon requires a BB data plan to get the WiFi service book. Do you have a BB data plan activated on your account?

No, I just downloaded this app SOTI - Advanced Mobile Device Management, Remote Control, Helpdesk, Security, Location Services and it tells me to enable the "allow connections over wi-fi" feature

WiFi connections are disabled by default for security reasons. To enable this, connect a device using USB and then go under Settings / Configure and check the "Allow Remote Control of Device over Wireless". Click OK, and OK, and now you should be fine to connect over the WiFi network.
