Default 8100 Theme Questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Ya'll.

Look i know it has been asked about 1 billion times, but is there anything out at all even home made software to alter themes, I am suprised that there is not even stuff that you can buy to do it.

The pearl is going to need this sort of thing cause really it is a young persons blackberry in comparison with most other versions.

We all know that we want to alter themes, is there anyway to get 870X themes to work on the pearl.

Grrr!

Cheers
Chris

No the pearl is the only BB that runs the 4.2 OS so only themes made for this OS will work on the pearl period.
I don't agree with this BB is only for the younger crowd for many years us older people wanted a smaller BB that could have a camera and have mass storage. The pearl has solved many problems with the older BB's that us older people had to deal with being that the smallest was the 7130 from sprint or verizon. I believe when the 8800 comes out most all BB users will be using that or the pearl due to size and weight

But thank you for grouping me with the Sidekick set

Unfortunately the Theme Generator is still not available for the Pearl.

this is def. not for the younger folk. if it were, then rim would have taken out all the security involved.

when i was a kid... kids who had blackberries were considered losers... stick with a sidekick or a envy for your txt msgs.

Exactly how is the Pearl "a young person's blackberry"?? I use my pearl for everything, including GAMES! My grandson thinks I'm soooo COOL! We may be older but still young at heart!

Kids who had Blackberries?!? How old are you??? Makin' me feel old, that's for sure. When I was in grade school, you were cool if you had a digital watch!

The RIM 950 was introduced in 1998. I guess if you are 25, then it would be possible. But the 950 did not have BIS support...
